Abstract
By examining the strengths and weaknesses, effective strategies can be developed for improving future festivals. Therefore, the present applied research, based on the interpretive (constructivist) paradigm with a qualitative approach, examined the challenges and assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the National Quran and Itrat Festival for Students in the Country. In this regard, purposeful and theoretical sampling was used to conduct semi-structured interviews with 23 experts in this field and students participating in these festivals. Once data saturation was reached, the interviews were concluded, and their themes were analyzed. The interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis revealed five crucial factors for the festival: strengths, weaknesses, strategies to enhance positive impacts, and the consequences of implementing these strategies. These factors were further divided into134 subcategories, 22 categories, and 5 main themes, which informed the development of the final research model. Given the multifaceted nature of these findings, this research underscores the necessity for collaborative efforts from religious, cultural, and educational planners, coupled with adequate resource allocation, to optimize the festival's organization and effectively address the identified issues. Ultimately, this study seeks to inform future festival planning and enhance its impact on promoting Quranic values among students.
